My history with Quantum started with a three months' internship that started in June 2017. I worked at the Software Production and Development Department. The first task I received as an intern was to adapt a report-generating engine to support internal projects. Thanks to the aid of my tutor and the team, I was able to quickly complete the task. Then, I received a next one. I was supposed to create a web-based equivalent of a desktop application used in Quantum. I was working on this second assignment and the term of my internship was about expiry, when I was offered the possibility of continuing my cooperation with the company. I accepted the offer without hesitation. My decision was motivated, among others, by the fact that I could work part-time, while continuing my intramural studies. During the period of internship, I had a chance to extend my knowledge of Java and JavaScript. However, the chance to see the structure and organization of work in an IT company from the inside was at least an equally important experience.
